Barking up the right Tree

As I strolled back home yesterday evening I recalled the amazing coaching session I had out in nature with my own coach yesterday. We spent part of the session hugging a very large tree (no surprises there!) and I remembered all over again how much love and acceptance I feel out in nature and returned to write the following poem.

Rightfulness

No tree will ever make you wrong

No leaf will ever judge you

No bird will try to sing your song

No butterflies begrudge you

No sun will ever dim your light

The moonlight will not dull you

Belonging is a human right

Allow the breeze to lull you

No tree will ever make you wrong

No beach will ever hate ya

For life is short and you’re among

good company in nature
