Budding Romance

Every Spring I literally fall in love with the blossom and this year is no exception. Whilst hobbling out for a walk yesterday afternoon (back pain has slightly improved) I was mesmerised by the white blossom and began writing straight away!

White There

How could you fail to see the grace beneath the blossom white?

It’s purity perfumes the place, its opulence excites

I’m drunk on tones of honeycomb that ooze from joyful branches

Through elegance my being roams as life with nature dances

How could you cease to feel the peace of this idyllic setting?

The goal is not just elbow-grease, release increases getting

The petals soft my soul embrace, we must look for the light

How could you fail to see the grace beneath the blossom white?
