Oasis Amazes

Whichever emotional space I am in, venturing into the forest is the perfect remedy. There is one particular walk I do beside a secluded stream which is particularly healing which I call the “Oasis”. Whilst I walked there on Monday, I felt a deep sense or belonging and revival.

Natural Communion

I’m part of all the purple stars

The rows of hearts, the bubbles

Far from the buildings, smoke and cars

Beneath the bright brook rubble

I’m one with all the nodding twigs

Down with the crunchy trunks

Where bulbous berries love to jig

It’s here I pack my punch

I’m family to the mossy mounds

The sounds out here appease me

Yes Mother Nature is my ground

Out here the knowing breathes me

I’m needed by the faithful paths

that share my joys and troubles

I’m part of all the purple stars

The rows of hearts, the bubbles
