Moving Meditation

Whilst I do love a daily guided meditation session, jogging has to be my preferred form of mindfulness. As those who read my blog know, I am a hobby jogger and make up for in enthusiasm what I lack in grace and speed! When I’m out jogging first thing in the morning all manner of ideas arise and I feel energised and renewed.

Jogfulness

It gets rid of the grogginess

To jog at dawn’s first call

The cure to mental sluggishness

It gives me wearwithal

I feel less stressed and worry less

Just don my shoes and go

I love the new lightheartedness

The movement helps me flow

No style and lacking in finesse

But I don’t care at all
