Out There

I love the way that my lovely coaching clients step out of their comfort zones and put themselves out there by trying new approaches and activities. The fierce courage shown is inspiring and is yet another reason why I love this work so much. As the old sayings go, we are never too old to try something new and a change is as good as a rest. What new experiences would you like to try?

Why-ever Knot?

Take off your tired slippers

Veer off the worn down tracks

Remove the floats and flippers

Discard your old rain mac

We’re too stuck in our habits

We hide beneath safe hoods

Adventure go and grab it

A change would do you good

It’s time to turn the tables

To mix things up, to dare

You’re willing and you’re able

No moments left to spare

For to the post it pips us

And we can’t get it back

Take off your tired slippers

Veer off the worn down tracks

  1. So uplifting, Sam! So many of us don’t challenge ourselves because we’re, “too this, not enough of that” or “no this, too much of that” It’s no good waiting for a life to happen, life happens while time passes folks by.
What I’d like to achieve is to get a book of my poetry published. I haven’t got much of an idea how to go about it, yet, but do have a vision of how it might look, using an artist I have in mind. Time to do some homework!
