Slave to The Waves

 

Day two of our Croatian experience was all about boats. An obvious prompt you might say, given that we were staying by the sea, but at this stage Anders was still on board and a solid anchor of a prompt was urgently needed! Whilst we sat drinking a cappuccino, both looking out to sea, I was practically horizontal and lulled into writing this Telestich poem!

Bobbing gently as the waveS

Toss me with the rhythm of the seA

Out here, it us and no more I

Drifting as the coastal wind does lulL

Mirroring the steady flow of ebB

Ocean journey time, now off we gO

Pirates save me from an ocean dramA

All my hull desires is just to floaT
